Ashamed

She came in as a woman that knew she was desired.

She could enter a room and smile at the heads that turned her way.

She was strong and knew where she wanted her life to go.

One day she encountered someone that wanted more than just to desire her.

Her thoughts turned to shame.

Her strength turned into weakness.

Her life was no longer hers.

With time she found that it wasn’t her or her body or her beauty.

It was just a beast that found her and his opportunity.
