Let It Rain

A long time ago I saw something that at the time I really had no idea what I had witnessed.

I was in college and thought everyone had gone for the holidays.

I stood in my kitchen washing dishes when a summer rain began.

A young girl went to the parking lot wearing a long T-shirt, and for a second only stood there.

Then she laid in the rain, being a young man I thought that’s sexy.

The thing is the longer I watched her I started to see something else.

This girl wasn’t trying to be sexy for anyone, she was simply FREE.
